The Quran about falsehood

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful

The position of the human worldview is always inferior to the stability of the divine position. Therefore, the justification of their positions requires the use of falsehood. The term used in the Quran on this subject is the word “zurun”, meaning: forgery, falsehood. This is an important element of the ideological struggle of the opponents of divine truth:

That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of God – it is best for him in the sight of his Lord.

And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the abomination of idols and avoid false statement! (22:30)

And those who closed themselves say, “This is not except a libel he invented, and another people assisted him in it.” But they have committed a gloomy falsehood! (25:4)

A vivid example of false speeches is shown in an illegitimate form of the divorce of that time:

Those who pronounce their women as their mothers, but their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them. And indeed, they are saying an objectionable statement and a falsehood. But indeed, God is Pardoning and Forgiving! (58:2)

Sincere believers differ from other people in a way that they do not allow themselves any falsification:

Those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. (25:72)
