The Quran about the message

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The principles of development, progress, correct choice and insurance against errors are based on the acquisition of certain information.

The correct belief in God is based on messages received from Him only. To date, the Quran contains the last transcendental message received through Muhammad.

The structure of the Prescription is built on the principle of messages that relate to one or another topic. In the text of the Quran, words that are used to indicate the received information, have a root, which is the word “anba,a” which means “to announce, inform, enlighten“.

Say, “I am not over you a surety! For every message is a place; and you are going to know!” (6:67)

From the text of the Prescription, we can see that Adam was the first person to receive the information from the Creator.

And He taught Adam all the names. Then He showed them to the maintainers and said, “Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful!”

They said, “Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise.”

He said, “O Adam! Inform their names!” And when he had called their names, He said, “Did I not tell you that I know the hidden of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed.” (2:31-33)

The above passage shows the importance of awareness based on the Lord’s suggestion. In this story, Adam, thanks to the knowledge gained, was on a higher level than the maintainers of the Most High.

A person, correctly estimating the information from the Creator, can and must foresee the consequences of his life activity.

Say, “Shall I inform you of better than that? (3:15)

Say, “Shall I inform you of worse than that as penalty from God? [It is that of] those whom God has cursed and with whom He became angry… (5:60)

For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the message of what they used to ridicule. (6:5)

Say, “Shall we inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds? [They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work.” (18:103-104)

And when Our signs are recited to them as clear evidences, you recognize in the faces of those who closed themselves denial. They are ready to attack those who recite to them Our signs.

Say, “Then shall I inform of worst of that for you? – the fire! God has promised it to those who closed themselves! And wretched is such return!” (22:72)

For they have already denied, but there will come to them the message of that which they used to ridicule. (26:6)

Of course, Muhammad’s contemporaries possessed certain information about the history of the past nations. To facilitate the incoming messages, God turns to already known events.

Has there not reached them the message of those before them – the nations of Nuh (Noah) and ‘Aad and Thamud and the nation of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And God would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves. (9:70)

Has there not reached you the message of those before you – the people of Nuh (Noah) and ‘Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but God!

Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, “Indeed, we are closed from that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt!” (14:9)

Shall I inform you upon whom the disobedient descend? They descend upon every sinful liar. They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars! (26:221-223)

And has there come to you the message of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of prayer chamber (38:21)

Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Musa (Moses) and [of] Ibrahim (Abraham), – that no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another (53:36-37)

Has there not come to you the message of those who closed themselves before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment! (64:5)

The Creator revealed in the Prescription part of the unseen that Muhammad was not a witness to.

That is from the news of the hidden which We suggested to you. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them should be responsible for Maryam (Mary). Nor were you with them when they disputed. (3:44)

That is from the news of the hidden which We suggested to you. You knew it not, neither you nor your nation, before this. So be patient; indeed, the outcome is for the circumspect! (11:49)

That is from the news of the hidden which We suggested to you… (12:102)

The society, accustomed to its traditions based on the legends of its ancestors, seeing its discrepancy with the message from the messenger, naturally, took hostile reception of the divine information.

And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over denial, and they were harmed until Our help came to them. And none can alter the words of God! And there has certainly come to you the message about the messengers. (6:34)

The main function of the messengers was to convey the revelation to the people. Therefore, the prophet was imputed to read to them messages about past events and about God’s messengers.

And recite to them the message of Adam’s two sons, in truth… (5:27)

And recite to them, the news of him to whom we gave Our signs, but he detached himself from them. He followed the disobedient and became of the lost. (7:175)

And recite to them the message of Nuh (Noah)… (10:71)

And inform them about the guests of Ibrahim (Abraham). (15:51)

And recite to them the message of Ibrahim (Abraham). (26:69)

Majority of Muhammad’s contemporaries considered the received information as his fiction, after all he spent all his life among them, without saying anything like that before, but the Most High clearly defined the authorship of the given stories.

We tell you the message about those cities. And certainly did their messengers come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus does God seal over the hearts of the closed ones! (7:101)

That is from the message about the cities, which We tell you; of them, some are standing and some are a harvest. (11:100)

We tell you from the message about the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an exhortation and a reminder for the believers. (11:120)

It is We who will tell you message about them in truth… (18:13)

Thus, We tell you the message of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Reminder! (20:99)

We recite to you the message of Musa (Moses) and pharaoh in truth for a people who believe. (28:3)

In the Quran the word prophet sounds like “nabi“, which was formed from the root “anba,a” and means “prophet“. As can be seen from the meaning of the word, the main task of the messenger was to convey the message from God, therefore it is qualified to call such a person a prophet sent by the Lord!

Say, “It is great message!” (38:67)

And there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence – perfect judgement – but warning does not avail them! (54:4-5)

About what are they asking one another?

About the great message – That over which they are in disagreement. (78:1-3)

However, in the Prescription Muhammad is positioned as the last in a series of previous prophets, that is, the messengers with message from God will no longer be among people.

Muhammad is not the father of one of your men, but the messenger of God and last of the prophets! And ever is God, of all things, Knowing! (33:40)

Absolutely every needed by mankind, transcendental messages are fully provided to humanity. To successfully fulfil people’s mission on earth, there is quite enough known divine information.

It is quite another matter when the already sent message of the Creator, corresponding to the reached level of humanity, is eventually revealed more fully. This opinion is confirmed by recent achievements and discoveries in various fundamental sciences, which were reflected in the Quran. Not detracting from the merits of scientists, we can state that their discoveries and achievements do not go beyond the sent messages of the Creator.
