The Quran about God’s appeals to people
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful
The whole palette of human outlooks represents a multitude of options for the development of society. The discussion areas are full of recipes for the recovery of the society, most of which have already been used by people.
Of all the forces driving man, the most powerful is the spiritual stimulus. This sphere is also represented by a great variety of forms and ways of following. To date, the most discussed “project” is Islam. But it is not monolithic either. Without giving anyone a preference, let’s turn to the basis of Muslims – the Koran in the part of God’s appeal to people.
O mankind, remember the favor of God upon you. Is there any creator other than God?
Who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?! (35:3)
The Creator draws the attention of mankind to the source of the vital activity of the biosphere. All of us, despite races, nationalities and faith, equally need the means of maintaining life. The main necessary means for people is a healthy nutrition.
O mankind! Eat from whatever is on earth that is lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of disobedient. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy! (2:168)
The logic of the development of society has led to a rotation both inside and between nations. Inside the society, elites were formed, and among the populations of the countries it became traditional to compare them in terms of their level of development. But all these are subjective and have nothing to do with the assessment of the Creator.
O mankind! Indeed We have created you from male and female and made you tribes and genes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of God is the most circumspect of you. Indeed, God is Knowing and Acquainted. (49:13)
To be able to deserve the Lord’s appreciation, you need to “turn on” the mind, an important point for which is circumspection (caution).
O mankind! Beware of your Lord, who created you from one personality and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. Beware of God, about whom you ask each other questions and incest! Indeed God is ever, over you, an Observer! (4:1)
O mankind, beware of your Lord! Indeed, the convulsion of the last hour is a terrible thing! (22:1)
O mankind! Beware of your Lord, and fear a day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of God is truth!
So do not let the worldly life delude you! Nor let the temper incite you concerning God! (31:33)
Circumspectness forces the believer to approach carefully to any events and draw correct conclusions from the information provided, otherwise normal functioning is impossible and can lead to replacement.
If He wills, He can do away with you, O people, and bring others! And ever is God competent to do that! (4:133)
O mankind, you are those in need of God, while God is the free of need, the Praiseworthy! If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation! And that is for God not difficult! (35:15-17)
Everything depends on people’s life activity. The stages of social formations are determined by the service to one or another system. The confrontation between messengers and opponents revealed such types of service as the duty presented by God, and the duty represented by people.
O mankind! Serve your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become circumspect. (2:21)
Say, “O mankind! If you are in doubt as to my duty – then I do not serve those which you serve besides God, but I serve God, who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers!” (10:104)
Say, “O those who closed themselves!
I do not serve what you serve!
Nor are you servants of what I serve!
Nor will I be a servant of what you serve!
Nor will you be servants of what I serve!
For you is your duty, and for me is my duty!” (109:1-6)
Service to any system determines an ideology that embraces the worldview on the basis of existence. One of the main aspects of the discussion of opponents is the question of understanding the future – the belief in the resurrection after death.
O mankind! If you should be in doubt about the resurrection, then indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed – that We may show you! And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, that then you may reach your maturity. And among you is he who is taken in death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit life so that he knows, after knowledge, nothing.
And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows of every beautiful kind! (22:5)
Bringing the truth is often based on analogies, because obvious examples make it easier to understand the basics that are unusual for perception.
O mankind! En example is presented, so listen to it! Indeed, those you invoke besides God will never create a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. And if the fly should steal away from them a thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued! (22:73)
The experience of the resistance of the disappointed (iblees) and “priests” to the Divine prescriptions is very great. They are armed with venality and deception, called from within Islam, to divert believers from the Quran.
O mankind, indeed the promise of God is truth! So do not let the worldly life delude you! Nor let the deceiver deceive you about God!
Indeed, the disobedient is an enemy to you! So take him as an enemy! He only invites his party to be among the companions of the blaze!(35:5-6)
O man, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? In whatever form He willed has He assembled you! (82:6-8)
Naturally, to treat absolutely everyone with distrust is not wrong. There is a set of qualities that are visible in cases that cause trust. The best possessor of the qualities that provoked confidence was Muhammad. No wonder the Creator chose him for the role of the conductor of His prescriptions.
O mankind! The messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord! So believe, it is better for you! But if you close yourself – then indeed, to God belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is God Knowing and Wise. (4:170)
Say, “O mankind! Indeed I am the messenger of God to you all, to whom belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth. There is no deity except Him! He gives life and causes death!”
So believe God and His messenger, the unsophisticated prophet, who believes God and His words. Follow him that you may be guided! (7:158)
Endowed with a responsible mission, the messenger tirelessly spent all his free time in exhortation.
O mankind! There has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light! (4:174)
O mankind, there has to come to you exhortation from your Lord and healing for what is in the thoughts – Guidance and mercy for the believers. (10:57)
Say, “O mankind! I am only to you a clear warner!” (22:49)
Many people disagreed with the messenger considered the proclaimed news of his personal creation. They did not accept his mission and voluntarily renounced the truth.
Say, “O mankind! The truth has come to you from your Lord! So whoever is guided is only guided for himself, and whoever goes astray only goes astray for himself. And I am not over you a trustee!” (10:108)
The fact that Muhammad will not be a surety is true for all.
Believers in the Quran are assured of the Day of Debt, and their righteous deeds are conditioned by the desire for a future life.
O man, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with exertion and will meet Him! (84:6)
For the depraved people there will be an event in which the summation of their life will take place.
…O mankind, your lechery is only against yourselves, the enjoyment of worldly life. Then to Us is your return, and We will inform you of what you used to do! (10:23)
